FAQs
Collection of contents
Of course it is. We create our content jointly with subject matter experts, often in collaboration with our clients' CISOs, data protection officers or compliance officers. We also give our content (depending on the content and requirements) to lawyers, penetration testers, incident responders or lead auditors for review. This is why we also call our content “auditor-proofed”.
In fact, a good e-learning course always has a certain flying level, where you don't have to discuss legal details, but rather convey simple and clear messages.
Yes, you can freely select the chapters and combine them into an e-learning course according to your needs. This allows you to create a wide range of training courses, from basic training to in-depth, target group-specific training.
In principle, this is almost unlimited, but we generally recommend a maximum of 6 to 9 chapters per course to ensure that the e-learning does not take too long. Training courses for new hires can be an exception, as new employees can cope with an all-round training course and still have the necessary time for it.
Absolutely, each of our chapters can be delivered as a stand-alone learning unit.
Of course! On request, we curate the selection and offer best-practice suggestions for initial or refresher training. This also applies to special target groups. Simply contact us and we will be happy to recommend a selection that suits your requirements.
Customizing
Yes, changes to text-based content (text pages, exercises, quizzes) are very easy to implement. For example, you can easily integrate your reporting processes, guidelines or confidentiality classes. We also take care of the didactic adaptation of additional content so that everything is “from a single source”.
Video adaptations are also theoretically possible, but we generally do not recommend it. They are quite expensive and limit your ability to update. If a video doesn't fit perfectly, talk to us. We will always find a solution.
Yes, to a certain extent. Logo, accent color, exchange of images with images from your own database, no problem. Only the basic structure of the modules (e.g. navigation elements, arrangement) remains as it is. Those changes are very time-consuming and do not bring any added value to the participants.
You will receive (after ordering) a PowerPoint with your selected content. You can add your change requests straight away and send it to other persons for review. If necessary, we will support you with the integration of new content. At the end of this customizing phase, we will receive the PowerPoint with your “production release”, i.e. a “please build it like this”.
We then create the e-learning based on the PowerPoint and make an acceptance version available online in a professional review tool. You and other people can run through the entire training course and provide feedback via the built-in feedback function if required.
We integrate these final comments into the training and (depending on the order) deliver the files for download or place them in our cloud LMS.
Without customizing, this happens in no time at all.
With customizing, it depends a bit: few changes in standard languages go within 1-2 weeks. Many changes in many exotic languages can also extend this to 3-6 months, whereby a large part of this is spent on internal coordination on the customer side. We are rarely the bottleneck in production 🙂.
Languages and language variations
Basically all of them. We have defined seven business languages for which we always have translations available: German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Chinese (traditional) and Italian.
We can also provide translations in virtually any other language. Costs and effort depend on the language and the specific translation required. Thanks to AI and a professional translation database with a translation memory function, translations are no longer an issue for us.
Yes, as our training courses are used in many authorities, we also have versions where we don't talk about 'companies' or 'enterprises', but 'organizations'.
We also offer versions for specific industries, for example 'Cyber Security in Aviation' for airlines and airports, or 'Cyber Security in the Medical Sector' for hospitals and other medical facilities.
Technology and learning management system (LMS)
Yes, our training courses are accessible in accordance with WCAG 2 (AA standard) and thus implement all important accessibility requirements. Examples:
- Thanks to a defined focus order, the training courses can also be operated exclusively via keyboard.
- All training content is compatible with standard screen readers.
- The contrast range complies with the WCAG AA standard and is also sufficient for visually impaired people.
- We use simple language despite complex content.
With all of them. Our courses can be delivered in all international e-learning standards Scorm 1.2, Scorm 2004, AICC or xAPI and are compatible with virtually any LMS.
On request, you will receive a test file in advance to check compatibility with your LMS.
No, not mandatory.
- If your company has its own LMS, you will receive the course files and your team can import them into the LMS.
- If you do not have your own LMS (or parts of the target group do not have access to it), we can make your content available on our IS-FOX Awareness Platform at any time (for a fee). You simply upload the participants, they will be automatically invited and reminded. You can track the participation status in the dashboard anytime and export statistics.
Of course. You decide whether you want a certificate of participation to be issued at all. If yes, there are two options:
- The certificate will be issued via the learning management system (LMS). This is often the better option because the certificates are stored in a database in a structured way (depending on the LMS) and can be reviewed.
- The certificate is issued from our course. If your LMS does not have a certificate function, we can also generate certificates in the course and offer a certificate of participation as a PDF for download at the end.
